The Company is a new start-up operation that will be using patent pending technology to naturally and sustainably raise saltwater shrimp on a scale never achieved before with traditional shrimp farms -whether they’re foreign or domestic.
Worldwide market conditions have led to shortages and historic high prices and a questionably raised non-USDA inspected frozen imported shrimp.
The Company model is to provide a fresh never frozen shrimp raised locally and transparently so people can feel safe again about eating their shrimp without worrying about excessive anti-biotic use, land and water pollution from mismanaged farms, social injustices like human trafficking and slave labor plus a huge carbon footprint from raising, freezing and shipping shrimp half-way around the world to a local grocer warehouse where they in turn re-distribute it to their stores.
The Company model is to use patent pending equipment and a natural proprietary feed formula to raise up to 10x the amount of shrimp in 2/3 less space and consuming 2/3 less water than traditional shrimp farms do. This will be done in a planet friendly, repurposed, vacant warehouse or factory located inside a major metropolitan area in the Midwest. This allows the chance to help inner-city revitalization, stop inner-city blight, create jobs, build a tax base and lower the carbon footprint.
The imported seafood business is worth over $6 Billion dollars and the USA imports 95% of the seafood that it consumes.
The Company is seeking $1.35m for a 20% convertible Equity note stake.
