A family owned manufacturing group (?Group?), which is the largest cotton yarn and fabrics producer in Uzbekistan, plans to divest a Uzebekistan fabric dye house. The Group?s unparalleled yarn and fabrics production facilities comprise 220 thousand spindles and 236 air jet looms, which are located in the capital city Tashkent and in the Tashkent province.
The Dye House is located in a highly populated region that, during Soviet Union, specialized in textile production. The current location of the Dye House once belonged to a huge textile business that produced famous silk fabric and employed 17,000 people. Production capacity of the Dye House is 13,600 thousand meters of dyed fabrics per year. Eighty percent of the finished goods are exported.
Market
The Dye House infrastructure, auto/rail roads, electricity distribution networks and water supply are in excellent condition. The productive assets of Dye House consist of recently imported equipment manufactured by some of the world?s most respected brands such as Kioto Machinaries, Mather, Monforst and Kusters.
The owners are seeking to divest themselves of the Dye House.
