MOSCOW, Jun 24 (PRIME) — State-owned Rosneftegaz may buy part of the government’s stake in Russian power holding Inter RAO UES either this year or the next, Olga Dergunova, director of the Federal State Property Management Agency, told reporters on June 22.
In late 2012, the Economic Development Ministry suggested that Rosneftegaz buy around 14.8% in Inter RAO UES from the Federal State Property Management Agency. “We have the sale planned for this year or next,” Dergunova said, adding that no agreements on the price have been reached.
Inter RAO UES controls a number of power generating and distribution assets, with the combined installed capacity of its power facilities amounting to over 32.8 gigawatts.
