Invest in a green facility that converts a significant waste problem into a fuel resourceThe Business
The Company was founded to develop, own and operate scrap tire and waste plastic conversion recycling facilities throughout six states of the United States. The Company plans to use a patented microwave process that converts scrap tires and waste plastic to diesel fuel and other byproducts. This is a revolutionary microwave process took eight years to develop, test and patent. This process does not burn or melt rubber or plastic and produces no emissions to the atmosphere.
Over the next five years the Company plans to develop, own and operate fourteen recycling facilities. The Company is a subsidiary of a business that currently recycles non-hazardous oils, lubricants, machine coolants and oily waters.
Market
Approximately 250 million automobile and truck used tires are discarded by Americans every year. Since 1989, when only 10% of scrap tires were recycled or reused, the United States significantly increased its tire reclamation efforts to slightly more than 80 percent. However, the 55 million tires (19 percent) not reclaimed are being thrown into landfills or, even worse, disposed of illegally on roadsides and properties around the country. Approximately 10% are incinerated, generally for power generation, although air quality issues are always a concern as scrap tires, like coal, are dirty fuel. The Company’s facility and technology offers an answer to the problem of scrap tire and waste plastic.
The Company is seeking a private equity investment or project finance for the first recycling plant.
