This Crimea based Company has broad experience in ship operation including transport forwarding services, customs clearance, and cargo survey. The Company’s management has seen an increasing demand for short-term yacht rentals in Crimea and intends to become a leader in this segment during the next 3-5 years. The Company intends to develop a short-term yacht charter business that would include training, storage, repair and maintenance. Crimean residents, foreign and CIS country tourists are the target audiences. Currently there is particular interest among foreign cruise liner passengers who regularly come to Sevastopol and Yalta. These visitors are interested to rent yachts for 1-2 days to travel along the south Crimean coast.
Market
The Crimean coast is a huge resort and recreation area with a soft Mediterranean climate and wonderful scenery. Its bays and coves are among the most suitable for marinas in the world. Crimea has a population of 2.5 million and more than 6 million tourists visit each year.
The Company plans to begin with acquisition of ten yachts and eventually increase the number to one hundred. The yachts will be located at yacht clubs in the principal Crimean resorts such as Great Yalta, Sevastopol, Feodosia and Eupatoria. The Company is seeking EUR 200K to develop the business.
