In the market for private aviation, the young company Wijet plans to make business aviation as accessible as a taxi. Wijet has now raised €1.5 million from investors.
Four years after its launch, the taxi-jet airline Wijet continues to score points in the industry. After establishing itself at Le Bourget, Lyon and Bordeaux, this summer Wijet extended its services to Cannes, and it expects to exceed 5 million in revenue in 2013, an increase of 45% over 2012. Wijet’s Strengths: a single price calculated by flight time (2200 euros per hour), a fleet of four Citation Mustangs and a small Cessna jet, and an environmentally friendly, low operating cost.
