This Company specializes in the production and distribution of an extensive range of bakery (15%) and long life pastry products (85%). The Company’s strength is rooted in its strong profitable key accounts portfolio, products diversification, quality and pricing.
The Company operates from a 1,250 sqm production facility in the Eastern part of Romania, which is well equipped with modern production lines (2007). Current production is around 2,500 tons/year, representing 80% of the total production capacity, with a total of 90 employees, working in 3 shifts.
A new 2,000 sqm state of the art production facility is currently under construction (EU funded project) which will double the production capacity through the increase and optimization of the production, storage and delivery space, the acquisition of new modern equipment and the creation of a laboratory. The Company has been ISO 9001 certified since 2008 and ISO 22000 since 2005.
It has good brand awareness in Eastern Romania. The Company and its brands have excellent market potential as western lifestyles and eating habits continue to be adopted in Romania.
The Company is seeking EUR 0.5 mln needed for expansion including finalization of current investment in the new factory, further product portfolio diversification, access to new markets. The owners could also envisage to sale part of the Company’s shares.
